... the Heat currently have a record of 5-1-0-2. They were the last AHL team to lose in regulation, dropping a 2-1 contest to the Hamilton Bulldogs last Sunday. ... the Heat are currently 3-0-0-1! Last week they lost in a shootout to the Chicago Wolves 3-2. Then they beat the Wolves 4-1 on national television and everything was great. Highlights are here and here.

... the Heat beat up the Peoria Rivermen in their first two games of the season last weekend by scores of 4-1 and 6-2. Danny Taylor was in net for both games.
